BJCP 2004 - American Amber Ale
Recipe Notes: When I transferred the recipe to this database, it didnt transfer my actual ending gravity. My actual ending gravity is 1.010, which would place the alcohol range at 7.71 ABV.
Tasting Notes: I really didnt know what to classify this as, but it is has good malt aroma, and flavor with the hops balancing out the malt with light alcohol notes that go away after about 2 weeks of cold conditioning. No fruity esters, or diacetyl detected. It has a caremel note to it that is very pleasing, probably due to the malt and brown sugar addition. This beer is always a crowd pleaser.
